The past couple weeks in DC Ed has been very busy working on key legislation. Here are some of the happenings in DC:
1) On November 7th, Congressman Perlmutter voted in favor of the H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act. This bill passed the House of Representatives 220-215.
2) On November 5th, Congressman Perlmutter voted for the Emergency Unemployment Compensation Extension Act to extend the homebuyer’s tax credit, unemployment benefits, and tax relief for military families. This bill will extend relief to millions families and workers nationwide.
